Description 
Printed reports of the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired documenting the school's management, building, and student activities. Reports list the school's officers, staff, and students, the school's financial receipts and disbursements, and some include black-and-white photo illus. An engraving of the school building appears in the 4th biennial report and in several subsequent reports. The 21st and subsequent reports include illustrations of the Hall Braille Writer and the Stereotype Machine, which were constructed in 1892 under the direction of the school's superintendent Frank H. Hall. The 27th report includes an illustration and photos of members of the board of trustees. See container list and related accessions for holdings.
