| Printed reports of the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School documenting the school's management, building, and student activities. Reports list the school's officers, staff, and students, the school's financial receipts and disbursements, and some include black-and-white photo illus.
The 10th biennial report Includes a frontispiece, an illustration of the school building with the caption "Iowa Institution for the Education of the Blind." The 29th report includes two photos (frontispiece)
with the captions "View Shows Central Portion of the Big Building. With Faculty and Students Gathered on the Steps and Campus." and "The Hospital." Additional photos show the Laundry Building, Industrial Department with students, Gymnasium, and a classroom. A business card of Joseph E. Vance, Superintendent is loose in the report.
A tipped-in, ink-print inscription that reads "With Compliments of
Robert Carothers, Principal." is included in the 14th biennial report and a similar inscription appears in several subsequent reports.
