Good Wills Day will be held Saturday, March 6, beginning at 9:30 AM. at the American Printing House for the Blind, 1839 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville
Space is limited, but there are still a few openings. Registration is required.
The American Printing House for the Blind (APH), University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law, the Legal Aid Society, and the Community Foundation of Louisville have put together a program to explain important documents such as last will and testaments, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Attorneys and senior law students will volunteer their time and expertise to benefit Louisville's community of people who are blind or visually impaired. Each conference participant will have an individual consultation with one of these experts. People will not only benefit from the expert advice regarding these important documents, but they will walk away with accessible copies in braille or large print.
Gary Mudd, Vice President of Public Affairs at APH says, "It's invaluable having personal information that we can refer back to--something most people take for granted."
Space is limited and registration is required. If all the openings are filled, a new session may be planned for a later date. To find our more about the program or to register, contact:
Roberta Williams, Public Affairs and Special Projects Manager, for more information. Telephone: 1 -800-223-1839 or (502) 895-2405; e-mail: rwilliams@aph.org
