Mary Nelle McLennan Named Vice President at APH
News Release: Louisville, Kentucky, July 24, 1997
Mary Nelle McLennan has been appointed Vice-President of Products and Services at the American Printing House for the Blind (APH). McLennan has been with the company since 1982 and previously served in the position of Director of Educational and Advisory Services.
A respected authority in the field of blindness and vision loss, McLennan is a recipient of the Exceptional Service Award from the Kentucky Chapter of the Association of Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind. She also travels widely as a speaker and consultant in the field.
APH was founded in 1858 and is the nation's oldest and the world's largest nonprofit manufacturer of materials for visually impaired people. APH's mission is to promote the independence of blind and visually impaired people by providing special media, tools, and materials needed for education and life.
