The American Printing House for the Blind is the oldest company in the United States manufacturing products for blind people. We invite you to take a free guided tour of our unique facility. Visitors will see the production of braille publications, the recording of Talking Books, and a demonstration of special educational products for visually impaired students.
The tours take place at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday, except holidays. Tour length is approximately one hour. Please make advance reservations for groups of ten or more. Tours can also be arranged for school or other groups of children ages 9 and up. Donations are gratefully accepted.
Visitors may also tour the Marie and Eugene Callahan Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind. Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The museum is closed on major holidays.
