Micheal Hudson, Director, Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind. A unique relationship existed between “Father Tom” and the Blinded Veteran’s Association he helped to found in 1945. As a featured luncheon speaker for the organization twenty-one times he was, at times, a friend, an advisor, a prophet just down from the mountain, and, at times, Carroll came to the B.V.A. to deliver a well earned trip to the proverbial woodshed. Whatever he came to say, he said it with strength and boldness, and straight to your face!
