Wills & Bequests
Making a bequest is an easy way to give while lowering your estate tax burden. With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift to be made to the American Printing House for the Blind as part of your estate plan or retirement asset, such as an IRA.
Whether it’s a percentage of your estate, a specific dollar amount, or a gift from the balance of your estate, APH will put it to good use by helping people who are blind or visually impaired continue to realize more opportunities through increased accessibility and independence.
How your gift helps.
You can leave a legacy of promise. Your gift may help a child with low vision to learn and grow through braille literacy. It may also ensure that a senior, newly diagnosed with vision loss, is provided with needed resources to live more independently. Your generosity today will touch the lives of so many tomorrow—making an impact and empowering people who are blind or visually impaired.
Benefits of your bequest.
- Receive estate tax charitable deduction.
- Lessen the burden of taxes on your family.
- Leave a lasting legacy.
