The ENVISION training program uses stories and activities about characters, such as Emmy the Emu, to teach students to use optical devices. It covers skills such as tracing, tracking, and scanning, and includes enrichment activities and objectives for each lesson, as well as reports to the clinician.
There are two separate ENVISION programs; each are divided into materials for younger and older students. ENVISION I, for Distance Devices, simulates standard street signs, addresses, international symbols, and familiar objects.
