The MATT Connect™ is a magnifier, distance viewer, and an educational tablet with pre-loaded software, enabling students to:

  • magnify a print document
  • read a book from an online library
  • conduct research
  • view a smartboard
  • write and email assignments
  • take a test

The MATT Connect features three interfaces to enhance user-ability for learners of all skills and ages: Basic (perfect for beginner assistive technology users – allows the MATT Connect to operate as a basic video magnifier with distance viewing), Standard (all the features of the Basic Interface, with the added ability to capture images, access the gallery, and enable OCR reading), and Advanced (unlocks the full potential of the MATT Connect, including applications on the Android tablet).

April 23 – In this webinar we will learn how to use the Books Application! The books application is your student’s portal to Bookshare! Learn how to search and share books to your students. I will also answer all other questions.

NOTE: If you are planning to use a room and have several individuals participate to this webinar, please be sure to register each participants, so that we a certain that you get the evaluation form, so that you can earn your ACVREP credits.

Learning Objectives:

  • Demonstrate how to use the Prodigi Books Application.
  • Demonstrate how to search and read a book using the Prodigi Books application.
  • Identify at least one way of sharing a book to your student using Bookshare and the books application.
