Product Description

An abacus is a tool used to perform mathematical calculations and is widely accepted as a helpful learning aid for students. However, the learning curve can be challenging not only for many students but also for teachers and parents. Practice2Master Abacus helps address this learning difficulty by making abacus learning an interactive experience.

The Practice2Master Abacus app can be used as a supplement to classroom instructions in which teachers can assign practice tasks or drills to students. It may also be used as a self-learning tool that includes systematic instructions and practice to help students start from the basics and become proficient abacus users. Not only is this app a great tool for students, but it can also be used as a reliable reference for teachers and parents who need to refresh themselves on abacus calculations.

  • Here’s what our field testers had to say about the Practice2Master Abacus app:

    • It is nice to have an abacus app for a student with VI. My student loves technology, so it kept her interest longer than usual.
    • I like being able to have the students use the app when they have free time outside of class.
    • It makes learning the abacus “cooler” with the tech piece and allows for the entire spectrum of learning the abacus.
    • Students enjoy using technology- can be easier to get them to use the abacus.
    • This is the only abacus app that I can find for students with VI. It has the potential to provide them a great opportunity to enjoy their abacus math activities on the screen. I especially like the feature that I can create my original questions for drill practice. Also, it is easy to keep their progress on the computer. This feature helps educators to organize and evaluate the students’ progress.
    • It is a way for students to practice abacus skills when the teacher is not present.
    • Cool app, easy to use, accessible
