Description

For decades, the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) has guided instruction for students who are blind or have low vision. But as educational practices continue to evolve, so must the way we think about and implement the ECC. Rethinking the Expanded Core Curriculum is part of a webinar series that explores a modern approach to ECC instruction–one that moves beyond checklist-driven practices toward an interconnected system centered on student agency, collaborative leadership, and personalized learning. Participants will discover practical strategies for creating intentional, integrated instruction that promotes meaningful skill transfer and greater independence, while empowering school-based teams to implement the ECC as both a guiding framework and an individualized curriculum.
