Tactile Graphics Development

This is an exciting time for new assistive technology. With the introduction of refreshable braille devices, such as the Monarch, users who are blind or low vision have instant access to exponentially more information than ever before, and there is a tremendous need for a wide variety of tactile graphics to accompany the braille.

APH is helping to fill that need by working with various publishers to develop a massive, first of its kind, Tactile Graphics Image Library (TGIL).

APH expertise is available to other organizations to help build this access.
