Product Description

The Adapted Biology Lab Manual provides a comprehensive set of introductory-level biology lab exercises specifically designed or adapted for high school students who are blind or have low vision. Covering foundational topics such as microscope use, cell division, and photosynthesis, each of the 12 labs provides step-by-step instructions for students along with adaptation guidance for teachers. Some of the lab activities include tactile graphic illustrations that can be printed on capsule paper then run through a swell form machine, such as HumanWare’s PIAF, to create your own tactile graphics. These adapted lab activities ensure that blind and low vision students remain engaged in their introductory biology classes alongside their sighted peers.

The full set of 12 labs will be sent via email after purchase.
