Permissions and Copyright Requests

All materials published by APH Press are copyrighted. Reproducing any portion of these materials (such as chapters, articles, tables, or figures) in any form (including posting online), requires permission from APH Press.

The Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC) handles permissions requests for APH Press materials in the following areas:

  • Photocopying for college course packs, classroom handouts, business, or other use
  • Reproducing in electronic format for college e-course packs, password protected e-reserves, course management systems, intranet or extranet postings, or other e-learning environments
  • Photocopying or reproducing in electronic form for use by academic and research libraries, and individuals
  • Republishing in print in a book, journal, newsletter, paper, presentation, or other form

Requests for permission to reproduce APH Press material can be made on the Copyright Clearance Center web site, www.copyright.com. When requesting permission, be prepared to state the nature and purpose of the request; the number of copies to be reproduced or sold; and whether the proposed usage is for educational, profit, or nonprofit purposes.

In addition to the payment of any applicable fees, permission to republish APH Press materials is granted on the condition that acknowledgment of copyright ownership is printed as follows:
