Product Description
Braille Bridge provides meaningful, age-appropriate practice materials designed specifically for older students and adults learning to read braille. Unlike traditional resources which have often been limited to children’s stories, Braille Bridge offers content that respects learners’ maturity and life experience. It is not a curriculum, but rather a flexible collection of practical reading materials that allows individual to practice braille reading with relevant content.
Materials are designed to reinforce essential areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC), including compensatory skills, independent living, and self-determination. Each collection includes a variety of functional and engaging activities such as common household labels, punctuation and braille symbol practice, jokes and riddles, and simple sentences.
This version of Braille Bridge includes an embossed book containing contracted UEB braille.
