    • “This student really enjoyed the ease of reading the pegs with the crispness and greater tactile ability. The bright yellow pegs were a great addition for self-checking with easy visibility with her low vision.”
    • “The Peg slate was very helpful for understanding the right to left and reversed image for the slate when writing with braille. It gave a huge understanding and clarity for the process.”
    • “The Peg Slate is great for braille letter practice… The students enjoy using the peg slate [so much] they sometimes forget they are learning.”
    •  “The Peg Slate provides instant feedback and self-monitoring. I don’t need to check a student’s work. They flip the slate and assess their success and areas for improvement.”
    • “I appreciate that the Peg Slate allows students to feel the braille in a more ‘3ish-dimensional’ way. Especially when students are having a difficult time with a certain contraction and can’t quite identify it or remember the dot #s that comprise the character.”
