Product Description
The Contrast Sensitivity Kit, developed by Good-Lite for low vision users, is designed to support students with visual impairments to evaluate functional vision. By focusing on functional vision and contrast sensitivity, the tool allows educators and families to understand a student’s abilities, particularly in challenging conditions like low light or glare.
This kit will include LEA Symbol Charts, a test for quickly measuring low contrast visual acuity at 25%, 10%, 5%, 2.5%, and 1.25% contrast by measuring the distance at which the symbols are seen. This includes a guide, recording form, and video, as well as guidance on calculating visual acuity (VA) and a conversion table for Snellen equivalent VA values.
